I really enjoyed listening to the 'hills are alive concert' at the Faenol Festival on the BBC website. Your duet with Michael Ball was fantastic.

I'm desperately hoping I will be able to come and see the show again before you leave but if not I will look forward to seeing you on your next project, whatever it may be!!!

Hope you are enjoying your new home. I moved this summer and it was abit of a nightmare trying to sort stuff out, hope thats not the case for you!

I can't believe it has been nearly a year since you won either, its seem not long ago I was voting for you each Sat. I have got tickets for your last performance which I am so excited about. I saw the show in June and it was totally fab. I also watched you in the Bryn Terfel concert as I also come from Wales, the concert had so much more meaning. Good luck to the new cast.

wow, guess I'm the first to reply to this one :-) It's a holiday here in Germany, so that might explain why I won the race to the computer!!! After having seen the initial production so many times ( I am 16, going on 17 - pardon the pun), I hadn't expected quite as many changes when I went to see last Friday's performance. Being so used to the familiar scenes it will take a while to get used to it - and seeing some cast members suddenly playing other roles is also a bit peculiar at first. But nonetheless, I enjoyed it as much as ever - and that again was due to you (and the Mother Abbess).
Don't be so modest about people coming to the show again and again. Don't you think there's a slight chance it may have something to do with you? Hope to see you and the cast again soon!

hiya connie, i expect your fed up of seeing my name on your blog all the time but I really can't wait to get your next newsletter. I can't believe its been over a year now since you became maria! You definately deserved to win though! I've just finished my work experience at the New Theatre (cardiff) and was really excited as I was working backstage with David Essex and Shona Lindsay. I just hope that some day i'll get to work with you. I'd love to come on th23rd of feb but it's not looking to promising at the moment, am trying to maybe get tickets as christmas pressies.

hi, the dress i wore on the alan titmarsh was from french connection. definitely one of my favourite shops. however, if you were talking about the nuns habit, those are on special offer at a convent near you!x

Also recently watched your interview on the Alan Titchmarsh show and heard you sing. Totally agree with the other ladies comments about you & your wardrobe must be so full of dresses now, with all the different ones that I have seen you wearing, you look great in them of course.

South Africa is so far away and it makes me quite jealous - you are appearing all over and I am missing it all!! However, I have made two friends through your website who are recording on dvd for me where they are able. I even found someone who will be sending me the "missing" Maria show, where Simona and Leanne went out. Can't wait to see you performing "Diamonds are a girl's best friend". By the way, on the night of the final of "Maria" I sort of expected that Julie Andrews would be brought on stage - pity. I really hope you get to meet her.

Thanks for your lovely 2nd Newsletter - wonderful, exciting news! The whole of my tap group is excited for a 2nd album and just know, we will buy it regardless of what you sing because we love your voice. I have your "Shout" as my ringtone so at least I feel like I am "in the loop" to a certain extent. Whenever my phone rings, everyone yells "It's Connie". I tell you, when you get to South Africa, you will have a huge fan club waiting!
