Hi Connie,
Woohoo! The very first newsletter... Unfortunately I haven't seen the documentary you mention either but I would have loved to see it. Am so curious what you are going to do next. If it's anything that also goes to the Netherlands... you can do a coffee here...you're invited! :) Hugs, Jacqueline & Angela Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter
D'oh! Just noticed that my last performance was listed as the 24th - a Sunday! Its Saturday the 23rd of February 2007. This time, I'm sure. Will aim to get my typing fingers in check for the next newsletter!
Did you like the newsletter? What would you like in future newsletters? I only ask so I don’t bore you death with trivial information. Are you exited about the new project, i know Iam!! Re: Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter

Hi Connie
The first newsletter is fab, suggestions for future editions may be backstage photos/gossip from your performances - just because I'm nosey! I am soooo excited to hear of your new project and await further info impatiently!!! I will try and do the hat trick of SOM before you leave though, and will come and say hello afterwards. Thanks for the newsletter Connie, it makes us feel that you really do appreciate our support.
We saw SOM last weekend and thought it was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! You have so much energy and thoroughly deserved the standing ovation (bet you're used to that by now!!) We were lucky to meet Margaret Preece and Alex Hanson afterwards and got photos and autographs, really sorry weren't able to wait long enough to meet you!! Hope to see the show again before Feb but will definitely be getting tickets for 23rd!! Suggestion for newsletter: gossip from behind the scenes of SOM would be nice, especially why Simon Sheppard left so suddenly, was it something you said?!!!!!!! Love and Best Wishes for your continued success R & J xx Re: Re: Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter
Hey R and J! thanks for your message. I just wanna say how much i appreciate everyone's support!!!! After all without everyone's support in the competition I wouldn't be here living the dream!!!! Thanks to everyone who voted and for their continued support. just heard that more tickets have been released for my final show ... saturday 23rd February. boy, will that be an emotional show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its time for the next newsletter me thinks, so i am working on it! as regards signing at stage door, I do sign evey night. Sometimes there are guests in to see the show who i meet inside and this might delay me coming out, but be assured i will come out the stage door to sign. happy blogging, connie xx Re: Re: Re: Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter

Hi Connie, thanks for your message, when we see the show again in December, will hopefully get to meet you at the stage door. Had to rush back to the coach last time, they were all waiting for us!! Thanks ever so much for the signed photo, really appreciate you taking the time. Hope you are having a great holiday, you deserve it.
Take Care, Luv Rach and Jane Re: Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter

Hi Connie,
Yay for your newsletter - it's great. Down here in South Africa we don't get to see your appearances etc on TV (unless some kind soul from the UK records them, as some angel did Maria for us!) so this is wonderful. I don't feel so isolated and am able to share it with all your many fans here, all still totally hooked on "Maria"! Hope you got my letter and photos etc when my friend came to see SOM last week. Hopefully some of our Tap Company will fly into London, and me, of course, to see and meet you before February. Just so wish we could pick up on TV all the exciting things you are doing!! With love, Carol Re: Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter
hi carol!!! yes thankyou so much for the letter and photos. i was thrilled to hear about your tap company in south africa!!!!!! let me know when you are planning to fly over to see the show... only four and a half months to go, so i do hope you'll be able to make it. South Africa is most defiinitely a holiday option in November or next March when i finish the show.
please stay tuned...new album in the pipeline. connie x Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter

Hi Connie,
Great website & first newsletter, keep them coming for us nosey fans! Have seen the SOM on 3 occasions & have just managed to get front row seats for your last performance on SAT 23rd Feb, really looking forward to it, but sad that you will be moving on, but also look forward to finding out what you will be doing next. Didn't catch the documentary unfortunately, but will see Songs of Praise this Sunday. You were fab at the Diana concert & ALW's concert, loved "Whistle down the wind", we last watched SOM on Fri 24th Aug & really enjoyed the show as always & were really pleased to meet you afterwards, you are a very talented, gracious, considerate and down to earth young woman & we wish you all the best for your future & look forward to seeing you in other projects. Love & best wishes Lara & Jed xxx Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter

Dear Connie
The newsletter is great! Thank you for sharing your news with us! Can't wait to find out the big news about the future! I hope the house move went well - I guess there will be loads of DIY coming up? When will you find the time? Great to hear the news! Just trying to book to see the show again. I see Alexander Hanson is leaving soon - how do you feel about the replacement? I saw in something some time ago and he is really good! But I will probably always think of AH as the Captain. Take care and looking forward to more news! Sarah Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter

Hi Connie
Enjoyed your newsletter.Unfortunately the link to AWL on radio 2 had expired and your Songs of Praise appearance had obviously been rescheduled! Did manage to rush home and catch the Hills are Alive concert on BBC 2 Wales sadly your superb duet with Ruthie was one of the bits they missed out, however did store the live radio show into favourites before it expired so can at least listen to it! Eat your hearts out mesdames Paige and Dickson!. Anyone who hasn't heard it has missed a treat! Have tickets for your final performance on 23rd and look forward to hearing of your future ventures. Please let us know of your various tv, radio and personal appearances in advance if you can. Happiness in your new home Love Joan Re: Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter

hi connie, love the newsletter as its fab knowing when u hav performances coming up - it gives me enough time to find a tape!- saw when connie met bryn and the hills are alive, it was lovely to see that despite the gruelling drive to north wales(i know what its like!) that you still did the two shows and went out to the stage door to see your fans on that saturday night, thats what makes you a really twinkly star!hehe loved the performances at the faenol, but was dissapointed that they didn't show you singing with ruthie henshall, I was really looking forward to that! Hope that the house move went well, and keep the fantastic performances coming!
love lauren from cardiff p.s am going to write to you soon but things are still pretty hectic at school as I've only been back a week! Re: Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter

I have lots of random connie footage if yo want to swap. I'm so jealous- you live in cardiff- bbc northern irelad has a habit of removing shows to replace them with random programmes! Less connie just isn't fair! Re: Re: Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter

Hi Nicola, I kno what you mean aboout livin in cardiff, but i'd still luv to be closer to london, my family would have to drag me from the palladium . I did record the shows but can't swap as the vidoes belong to my nan - sorry about that! I read on one of your other posts that you got to meet connie backstage - your so lucky, I met her by the stage door but didn't have long to talk as I was on a coach trip and was supposed to be getting back on the bus! Also there was loads of people waiting to see connie so I couldn't really talk for long! I would have loved to tho as I hav so much I'd like to ask and say to her!

Met connie backstage? I wish! You either read the wrong post or misinterpreted me- I too caught a hurried photo and smile at the stage door! I might have said backstage, I can't remember- I was very excited!

ah right, yeah i probably misread it! I know what you mean about the excitement tho, I was on a coach trip so by the time i got back to cardiff almost everyone on the coach knew! The fist thing i did tho was send the pic to all of my family and friends(i didnt have a camera with me so the pic was taken on my phone!) then we got talking to the ladies sat next to us and became the noisiest people on the coach! Noise is fun when your that excited!
p.s there are some videos from the faenol on youtube! Re: Connie's FIRST News Letter
